The Four-Week Journey
Week 1 — Know Yourself to Lead Yourself
CONFIDENCE
- •Discover the first three Inner Powers of Self-Leadership

- •Recognize how thoughts and emotions shape confidence
COMMUNICATION
- •Record a baseline introduction to measure your growth
- •Learn the three elements of powerful communication: voice, body language, and words

- •Practice self-awareness through experiential activities

Week 2 — Discover Your Voice & Personal Brand

- •Organize and deliver a one-minute presentation with clarity and purpose

- •Strengthen eye contact, posture, vocal variety, and speaking presence
LEADERSHIP
- •Explore four Inner Powers focused on energy, time, choices, and habits
- •Learn how everyday decisions shape your character and reputation

Week 3 — Activate Your Purpose & Presence

Through every challenge, presentation, and activity, students are introduced to key principles from the 11 Inner Powers of Leadership™—a framework designed to strengthen self-awareness, inner authority, intentional decision-making, resilience, creativity, and authentic influence.
Great leaders don't simply learn what to say.

Students begin to explore questions like:
What am I thinking—and is it helping me?
Can I trust my own inner voice?
How do my choices shape who I become?

How We Measure Growth
At Speak & Lead™, leadership isn't measured by a written test—it's measured through action.
Each session introduces practical leadership principles that students immediately put into practice through our signature Teach-Back™ method. As students present key takeaways to their peers, they reinforce what they've learned while developing the confidence to communicate with clarity and lead with purpose.
Throughout the program, we observe and coach each student's growth in real time through their vocal delivery, facial expression, body language, stage presence, and ability to organize and communicate a clear message.
Their progress is documented along the way, giving parents the opportunity to see and hear the remarkable transformation that takes place—from hesitant speaker to confident communicator and emerging leader.

Speak & Lead™ was founded by Angel Carlton Anderson and Brad Anderson with a shared vision: to prepare the next generation with the confidence, communication, and leadership skills needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Together, they combine transformational leadership expertise with strategic business leadership to build an organization that empowers young people for life.
Angel Carlton Anderson
Founder & Chief Visionary Officer
Angel Carlton Anderson is a nationally recognized leadership speaker, transformational coach, published author, and creator of the Speak & Lead™ methodology. For more than three decades, she has developed leaders in Fortune 500 organizations, coached thousands through personal and professional transformation, and inspired audiences nationwide.
Long before she stepped onto keynote stages, Angel was a devoted room mom, PTA President, youth mentor, and creator of programs designed to help young people build confidence, character, and purpose. That lifelong passion—combined with her experience developing adult leaders—revealed a simple truth: the skills that create exceptional leaders are the very skills young people need most today.

Brad Anderson leads the strategic growth and operational development of Speak & Lead™, ensuring that the organization's mission is supported by strong systems, meaningful partnerships, and long-term sustainability.
With an extensive background in executive leadership, business operations, organizational strategy, and technology, Brad brings the operational expertise that transforms vision into reality. While Angel leads the curriculum, student experience, and educational philosophy, Brad focuses on building the infrastructure that will allow Speak & Lead™ to expand its impact for families, schools, and communities across the country.
Outside of the workplace, Brad has embraced that philosophy through endurance athletics as a former collegiate lacrosse player, multiple marathon and IRONMAN® 70.3 finisher. Today, he encourages others to invest in their own well-being and reminding audiences that meaningful change often begins with one simple decision—breakthroughs rarely come from a single moment—they are built through consistent habits, thoughtful leadership, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
